Training at Krügel Logistik at a glance
Apprenticeships at Krügel Umzugslogistik last three years (if you want, you can also shorten them) and are carried out according to the dual system. This means that the trainees work in our company (a long-standing, renowned removal company) and learn at the vocational school at the same time.
After 18 months, there is an intermediate examination, followed by a final examination after the third year of training.
With us, you will be optimally trained for a job in the furniture logistics sector. The combination of practical and theoretical knowledge forms a solid basis for your future career.
Since 2006, for example, there has been a varied vocational training program for furniture, kitchen and removal service specialists, for which you can also apply for a vocational training allowance from the Federal Employment Agency.
Krügel Umzugslogistik is a recognized training company and is currently training 26 apprentices.
What exactly does an FMKU do?
This job is not for couch potatoes! As a "furniture, kitchen and removal service specialist" (FMKU), you will be working at a different location almost every day, always dealing with other people and being an organizational talent, problem solver and muscle man all rolled into one.
Specialists in furniture, kitchen and removal services work in companies in the kitchen and furniture trade, in the specialist furniture trade, in the furniture industry and in removal companies. The places where this interesting profession is practiced are the workshop, warehouse, customer rooms, the vehicle and the office.
The job is practical and varied. Those who do it do not sit at a desk every day, but work in a different environment almost every day and have a lot of customer contact. Together with your team colleagues, you pack and deliver furniture for private households, companies or public institutions.
You assemble kitchens and install electrical appliances. You will advise removal customers on the risks and liabilities of a professionally carried out removal, take on the planning of the move and use your knowledge and skills to ensure that your customers feel that they are in good hands in this unusual situation.
The theoretical part of the FMKU training takes place at Gsechs Berufliche Schule Holz, Farbe, Textil in Richardstraße 1, 22081 Hamburg.
